Halim Dixon-King had a career night in the then-No. 12-ranked Monroe Mustangs' 49-48 overtime victory at then-No. 11 Lackawanna College Saturday evening. Dixon-King caught nine passes for a career-high 184 yards and two receiving touchdowns. His first score was a 31-yard completion that tied the game at 14-14 in the second quarter. Dixon-King then scored the game-winning touchdown, a 23-yard pass on the first possession of overtime, leading to the 49-48 win. He made a 44-yard reception in the fourth quarter led to a touchdown that put Monroe in the lead, 35-28, and also made two clutch catches during Monroe's one-minute drill to tie the game at the end of the fourth quarter. The sophomore now has 19 receptions for 427 yards and six touchdowns through four games in 2021.
