Jalen Brown produced a trio of touchdowns on Sunday, leading the No. 16-ranked Monroe College football team to a thrilling 35-28 victory over rival ASA College in Monroe's annual Homecoming game. The Mustangs' signal caller capped off the opening drive with a two-yard rushing touchdown to take an early 7-0 lead. With the game tied in the fourth quarter, Brown rushed for another score, this time from 16 yards out, to give Monroe a 28-21 edge. On Monroe's next drive, he put the game out of reach, hitting Jevin Frett for a 41-yard touchdown pass that made it a 35-21 game. Brown finished 10-of-13 for 118 yards and a touchdown through the air, while rushing eight times for 44 yards and two more scores. With seven rushing touchdowns on the season, Brown pushes his career total to 11 scores on the ground, setting a new program career record.
