Laia Munoz Danon capped off a stellar regular season on Wednesday, scoring a goal and assisting two others to help lift the No. 3-ranked Monroe Mustangs women's soccer team to a 7-0 victory over ASA College, securing the 2018 Region XV Title. She assisted Daiana Frizon's goal in the third minute of the game, and scored Monroe's third of the day in the 21st minute. Munoz Danon then assisted Yolanda Albalat's score in the second half that made it a 7-0 game. Part of an incredible freshman class, Munoz Danon completes the regular season with 10 goals and 27 points, both good for third on the team.
