Mayara Queiroz Reis had an excellent weekend in Florida for the Monroe Mustangs women's soccer team. In Thursday's contest at No. 4 Daytona State College, Queiroz Reis set the tone with a goal in the eighth minute of the contest. She later scored the Mustangs' third goal in the 22nd minute, which proved to be the game-winner in Monroe's 3-2 victory. Queiroz Reis followed that up with another goal early in the second half of Friday's 4-0 win over Broward College. She is currently third on the team with 11 points through four games, and tied for second with five goals.
