Kimberly Zapata had an outstanding week for the Mustangs softball team across nine games. She batted .571 with a home run, three triples, 14 RBIs and 16 runs scored. She had a hit in each of the final eight games of the week, including a 2-for-4, two-RBI, two-run game in Saturday's finale against Cumberland County, in which she also hit a home run. On Wednesday, Zapata went 3-for-3 with a triple, five RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Genesee Community College. She had an RBI or a run scored in 7-of-9 games over the week. Zapata is batting .551 on the season with 21 RBIs, 16 runs scored and two home runs.
