Jhery Matos had a stellar week for the Mustangs as they came out on top in a pair of home games this past week. Matos averaged 25.0 points and 14.0 rebounds in the Mustangs wins over Hostos Community College and ASA College during the week, registering a double-double in each affair. He scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in Tuesday's victory over Hostos, and followed that up with a 21-point, 13-rebound, seven-steal performance on Thursday against Region XV foe ASA. The sophomore shot 48.6 percent from the field and made 11-of-12 free throws over the week.
