Samantha Hines nearly averaged a double-double across a 1-1 weekend for the Monroe women's basketball team at the Murph Shapiro Tournament, hosted by Monroe Community College. She finished the weekend averaging 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds after a pair of impressive games. Hines scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds in Saturday's victory over Mohawk Valley Community College. She then got the start on Sunday, and picked up her first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 boards.
