Isaiah Allen-Smith had a stellar start to his season, leading the Monroe College junior varsity men's basketball team to a pair of season-opening victories this past weekend. He averaged 19.0 points across two games while shooting 56.5 percent from the field. Allen-Smith also averaged 6.0 rebounds per game across that stretch, and shot 3-of-7 from three-point range in each game. He led the Mustangs with 23 points in Saturday's 87-59 victory over Herkimer County Community College. Allen-Smith then added 15 points in Sunday's 89-60 win over the College of New Rochelle.
