Carlos Rodriguez scored a pair of goals to lift the No. 3 Monroe College men's soccer team to a 3-0 victory this past Friday over Region XV foe ASA College, securing the 2017 NJCAA Division I Region XV Championship for the Mustangs. Rodriguez scored in the 32nd minute of the game to put Monroe ahead, and later iced the game with a 74th-minute goal to put the home team up, 3-0. Rodriguez leads the team with 15 goals on the season as the Mustangs head into the Northeast District Championship Tournament.
