At the NJCAA National Championship, freshman Susan Ejore continued to impress throughout the championship. In the 1500-meter preliminaries, Ejore ran the fastest time of 4:44.97. In Thursday's final, Ejore ran a blazing time of 4:32.72, winning the national championship in the women's 1500 meters.  Ejore also competed in the 800 meters, taking second by a tenth of a second in 2:06.43.
