Tavares, from Providence, Rhode Island was second on the Mustangs in scoring at 11.5 PPG.  He eclipsed double-figures in scoring in 14 contests and surpassed the 20-point plateau three times, including a season-high 23 points against Harcum in January.  In his final home contest, he posted his first double-double of the season, with 18 points and 11 rebounds against Lackawanna.
