Dawnel Collymore capped off the indoor season with a number of accolades this past weekend at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships. Collymore was part of the distance medley relay team that placed sixth overall at the meet, earning All-American status in the event. She also earned All-American honors for two individual events. Collymore finished fourth overall in the women's 600-meter dash with a time of 1:34.47, and set a new program record in the preliminary round of the event with a time of 1:34.06. She then took fourth in the 1,000-meter run after clocking in at 3:02.07.

Collymore was also selected as the 2018 Atlantic Region Track Athlete of the Year the night before Indoor National Championships began.
