NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.–Seven members of the Monroe University women's Cross Country & Track program were awarded academic honors during the Fall 2025 semester as the University announced. 

Five members of the women's cross country and track team — Kaliyah Jones, Latejah Bailey and Zanya Belfon — earned placement on the President's List. Monroe University recognizes full-time students with exceptional academic performance on the President's List, which requires a semester GPA of 3.8 or higher.

Brittania Vidal, Aleisha Clarke, Brinel Thomas and Brooke Sheppard was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved with GPA's between 3.6 and 3.79. 

"We are very proud of our team; these accomplishments are results of their hard work and dedication" said head coach Shirvon Greene. "Their commitment towards their academic prowess, equals that which they display on the course, track and field every day."
