New Rochelle, NY – Head coach
Mike Seney of the Monroe University women's basketball program has announced the team's 2025-26 schedule, consisting of 30 contests and four invitationals.
The Mustangs will kick off the season in Hobbs, NM, for the New Mexico Classic, hosted by New Mexico Junior College. Their first game will be on November 1 against Odessa College with tip-off time still to be determined. Over the following two days, the Mustangs will take on New Mexico and South Plains College to close out the invitational.
Seney will then travel to his former stomping grounds at CCBC Essex — a program he brought to national prominence with a national championship in 2023. Monroe will take on the Knights on November 6 at 6:00 pm.
Monroe will then welcome Putnam Science Academy for its home opener on November 10 at 5:00 pm. Following the standalone contest, the Mustangs will travel to Miami, FL, for the Miami Dade Tournament. Gulf Coast State College (November 14), Miami Dade College (November 15) and St. Petersburg College (November 16) await.
The following weekend, the Mustangs will take part in the College of Southern Idaho Tournament, with matchups against the College of Southern Idaho, Shelton State Community College and Cochise College on tap.
Two home contests versus Union College (December 4) and Baltimore City Community College (December 5) precede four straight road tilts against Harcum College (December 6), Prince George's Community College (December 9), Mercer County Community College (December 11), and CCBC Catonsville (December 19).
The new year then begins with another home matchup versus Union on January 6 at 6:00 pm. Then, the Mustangs will take part in the MLK Tournament the weekend of January 17, with matchups versus Niagara County Community College and Monroe Community College set for the two days.
Ten more games remain on Monroe's schedule to close out the season — an even split of five road games (Harford Community College, Raritan Valley Community College, Cecil College, Howard Community College and Lackawanna College) and five home games (Raritan Valley, Prince George's, CCBC Catonsville, CCBC Essex and Harford).
