 Freshman Kaliyah Jones of the Monroe University women's indoor track and field team achieved a new school record in the 300m at the Garden State Invitational on Saturday to highlight a terrific day for the team. Jones ran clocked in at 40.46, which shattered the previous Mustang record held by Teena Mobley (43.52) from back in 2014. After 11 years, Jones now stands alone atop the record books for Monroe in the 300m.
