Carlota Gomez-Alonso made the most of the Mustangs' first two games of 2024. She averaged 18.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in Monroe's two games at the Monroe College Men's and Women's Mixer at the MAC. Coming off the bench in Monroe's weekend opener on Saturday against Howard, Gomez-Alonso produced eight points and 13 rebounds. She then had a strong offensive day with 29 points, including six three-pointers, and another nine boards in Sunday's win over Nassau.
