Tyee Martin Jr. had a big game on defense in No. 11 Monroe College's 42-14 victory over Milford Academy on Saturday. Martin made his two biggest impact plays on two straight plays in which the defense was on the field during the fourth quarter. He made a big interception at midfield to get the ball back for the offense. After Monroe punted the ball back to Milford, Martin then picked off the first play of the ensuing drive, returning it 30 yards for a touchdown that put Monroe up, 42-6. Martin also made two tackles, including one behind the line of scrimmage.
