New Rochelle, NY – Head coach Jeff Brustad of the Monroe University men's basketball program has announced the team's 2025-26 schedule, consisting of 30 contests, including four invitationals and ten district games.

The Mustangs will open the season on Tuesday, November 4, at 6:00 pm against Quincy College at the Monroe Athletic Complex — the same way they opened last season. They will then head to Florida for two games against Pensacola State College and Northwest Florida State College.

The first of four invitationals begin on Friday, November 14, at 6:00 pm when the Mustangs take on Dawson Community College. District foe Allegany College of Maryland will also join the three-game invitational and will play Monroe on Sunday, November 16, at 1:00 pm.

Monroe will head back to the Sunshine State for contests against Florida SouthWestern State College (November 20) and Miami Dade College (November 21) before taking part in three straight district games against Hagerstown Community College (November 29), Allegany (November 30) and Baltimore City Community College (December 5).

The second Monroe Invitational, which begins on Friday, December 12, will feature Daytona State College and Hagerstown. Monroe will take on the Falcons on December 12 at 6:00 pm before playing the Hawks to close out the weekend on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 pm.

One final trip to Arizona before the winter break will see the Mustangs take on three strong programs in Central Arizona College (Wednesday, December 17), Cochise College (Thursday, December 18) and Arizona Western (Friday, December 19).

After the break, the Mustangs will host the MBB/JVMBB Mixer the weekend of Saturday, January 10. Following a solo game versus Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday, January 15, the Mustangs will then host MBB and WBB MLK Tournament the next weekend.

The district games begin to line up thereafter as Monroe travels to Harcum College (Saturday, January 24), Harford Community College (Tuesday, February 3) and Baltimore City (Saturday, February 14). It will then host Harcum and Harford to close out the season on Saturday, February 21, and Thursday, February 26, respectively.

Between the district contests, Monroe will also play a home-and-away versus CCBC Essex, two road contests against Howard Community College (Sunday, February 15) and Lackawanna College (Thursday, February 19), and a home tilt versus Mohawk Valley Community College (Monday, February 9).
