Alex Masai helped the Monroe College men's cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the RK Munsey Men's Championship 8K as part of the 51st University at Albany Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Masai finished fourth overall out of 85 competitors, including some of the top NCAA Division I talent in the region, with a time of 25:15.4 in the 8K race. Masai has twice set the Mustangs' 8K-course program record this season, and has also previously taken home USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors.
