Freshman Joy Fridah Jepleting of the Monroe University women's indoor track and field team capped off her regular season with two more national qualifications at the Fastrack Last Chance Meet. After already qualifying for nationals in the 3000m at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, Jepleting added qualifications in the 800m and 1000m events at Ocean Breeze. She secured her spot in the 800m with a time of 2:16.74, and then, with limited rest, won the 1000m in 3:06.79, marking her first time running the event. Her impressive performances earned her a trip to nationals in Lubbock, TX.
