Banele Mkabela got his 2024 cross country campaign off to an impressive start at Friday's Delaware State University Sting Invitational. Mkabela earned a third-place finish in a field of 56 runners that included all NCAA Division I competitors and the Mustangs. Mkabela ran a 5K time of 15:37.9 to lead Monroe to a third-place finish at the meet.
