Kayla Johnson set a new personal-best time in the 800-meter run on Saturday to highlight the Monroe College Mustangs women's track and field team's outing at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Open at The Armory. Johnson outpaced her previous best mark in the 800m on Saturday, running a PR time of 2:14.98 to improve her qualifying time and ranking for the NJCAA Indoor Championships. She placed 13th in the race out of 72 runners.
