Attoya Harvey's incredible freshman campaign continued in a big way on Saturday at the St. Joseph's University Invitational/NJCAA Region 15 Division I Championship meet at Sunken Meadow State Park. Harvey earned her second consecutive first-place finish on Saturday, pacing the field of 140 runners with a 5K time of 19:36.79. Her time was the seventh fastest in the meet's history despite rainy and windy conditions on the course. Harvey's performance helped the Mustangs claim first place as a team in Saturday's St. Joseph's Invite, as well as the NJCAA Region 15 Division I Championship.
