Karim Belmahdi had a terrific performance for the Mustangs at the 2023 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend. Belmahdi competed in four events for the Mustangs, earning Top-4 finishes in all of them. As an individual, Belmahdi placed fourth in the mile run (4:11.49) and third in the 3,000-meter run (8:14.25). He was also part of the distance medley relay team that took third place (9:51.96), and then the 4x800m relay team that broke the Monroe College indoor record with a time of 7:39.13 to take second place in the event.
