Kayla Johnson continued to impress during the indoor season with another strong performance at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Johnson earned her third qualification for the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with her performance in the mile run on Saturday. Johnson ran a time of 5:18.64 in Saturday's race to beat the qualifying standard and earn her spot at the indoor championships. She previously qualified in both the 800-meter run and the 1,000-meter run.
