Prince Mcabelo set a new NJCAA Indoor Track & Field all-time record in the 1,000-meter run on Saturday at the David Hemery Valentine Invite, hosted by Boston University. Mcabelo clocked in at 2:22.10 in the 1000m, breaking the previous record of 2:22.72 set back in 2018. Mcabelo now ranks No. 1 in the NJCAA this season in the 1000m.
