Aaliyah Moore continues to impress during her first indoor track and field season with another incredible performance in Friday's NYC Gotham Cup. Moore topped the field of 23 competitors in the 1,000-meter run on Friday, crossing the finish line in 3:00.42. She defeated second place by 0.39 seconds, and was nearly five seconds faster than the third-place finisher. Moore's impressive time was more than 10 seconds faster than the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships qualifying time, earning her a spot at the national meet in the event.
