Phelani Maduwa had a weekend to remember at the 2020 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Maduwa was the leadoff leg of the national champion 4x800 relay which finished with a first-place time of 7:43.02. He reached the podium twice more on Saturday, finishing third in the 800-meter run (1:53.57) before returning 20 minutes later to take eighth place in the 1,000-meter run (2:33.63).
