Marissa Vanduzer played a key role in the Mustangs' 3-2 week, including their three-game run at the Region X Championship Tournament. She batted .438 in five games, adding a pair of dobules, four RBIs and three runs scored. Vanduzer's two-RBI double in the Mustangs' tournament opener against USC Sumter gave the Mustangs a lead they did not relinquish. Vanduzer had a hit in each of Monroe's three games in the Region X Championship Tournament.
