Elianel Mejia had a stellar week across six games for the Monroe JV baseball team this past week. He batted .600 (12-for-20) with four doubles, a triple, six RBIs and 11 runs scored. Mejia had multiple hits in 4-of-6 games this week, including a monstrous 4-for-5 game in Saturday's finale against Columbia-Greene in which he hit two doubles, knocked in three runs and scored four more himself. He also had a pair of 3-for-4 games against the Monroe Express and Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
