Freshman fly half Neyri Meregildo had a big game this past Saturday in Monroe women's rugby's 75-7 victory over Drew University. The rookie totaled a team-high four tries in the Mustangs sizeable win, and did so on her birthday no less. The brand new women's rugby team is 2-0 through the first two games of its inaugural season, and has turned in a pair of impressive efforts to pick up its first two wins.
