Sophomore Gabriel Machado tallied five goals in two games to lead No. 2 Monroe College to a pair of victories to open the season this past weekend. On Saturday, Machado scored twice to lift the Mustangs to a 4-2 defeat of Harcum College. He followed that up with a hat trick on Sunday in a 7-1 win over Louisburg College. An All-American in 2016, Machado is already making his case to receive that distinction once again.
